Papa John's Pizza Box Room

The Papa John's Pizza Box Room is a busy, productive and happy place for students. An on-going arrangement set in place with a local store since 1994 gives our participants the opportunity to fold the Papa John's pizza boxes and deliver them back to the store on a volunteer basis to gain job skills training. It only takes about an hour or two each week and because so many students want to do it we have to rotate each week, but any student who wishes to participate may do so to learn teamwork, time management, organization, production and other skills related to a job setting. Saint Mary's nor the students are required to perform this as an actual job, it is strictly on a volunteer basis and we feel very fortunate for the opportunity to provide something so meaningful to our students.
