Bingo
St. Mary's Center holds bingo every Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
The Bingo is held at Middletown Bingo Center at 211 N. English Station Rd. The phone number for the Bingo facility is 244-1866. We may be reached two hours prior to our session.
The Bingo is a wonderful fundraiser for the school. The cost is $14 to play up to 36 faces of cards, all games included. Come out and socialize with your friends. It's a great way to support the center. Games pay $200/$250/$400. Early Birds and Speeds pay $100. Coverall pays $1000.
One person opens King of the Mountain pulltab until they get a 13. Bonus Bingo Match Game pays up to 500 pulltabs. We are also in need of volunteers to work the Bingo. Contact the center for more information.
Square Dancing
"Happy Squares" is the name of the performing square dancing team at St. Mary's. Every Monday afternoon you can hear their caller, Charlie Wheatley, instructing singing, and calling dances for the students. The "Happy Squares" have attended two national conventions - one in Daytona Beach and one in Williamsburg.
This summer we will co-host the 2002 National Handicapable Square Dance Convention in Louisville. Everyone involved is very excited!
We are expecting over 400 dancers from across the country. The "Happy Squares" will have great fun meeting fellow dancers, enjoying the food, and entertainment and performing.
