__Day Training for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities
St. Mary’s Center serves over 150 adults and teens with intellectual disabilities from the Louisville Metro area. We are in our 18th year of providing vocational, functional, academic and socialization training. In addition we teach lifetime leisure skills and a vast array of sports activities. These services enable our students to become more independent and fully functioning members of our community.
It is heartwarming to see our student’s smiles after they’ve reached a goal, or watch them celebrate not only personal victories but those of long time friends. It’s gratifying to see their determination and grit to strive to be the best person they can be.
St. Mary’s Center is not affiliated with any religious agency. To maintain our high standard of quality, the Center relies strictly on the generosity of the community, donations and the support of fundraisers.
Students are never turned away because of an inability to pay. We accept students on Medicaid waivers including SCL (Supported Community Living) and Michelle P. Private pay is also accepted. St. Mary’s Center is non-discriminatory and non-denominational.
